My cabinet does such a good job – I’m so proud ob all ob them. I got a letter from Gourdon (see below), so remember tomorrow, on the 11th – appreciate the cows and get a free icee at 7-11 (cause it’s 7-11 you see, so dat’s why) so hab your icee and fank the cows. You can post pictures ob you doing it if you want to show your donutcratic patriotness. In the name ob yogies, it’s really the least you can do.
Dear President Fibbs,
How are you doing? It’s your old pal Gourdon. I bet you are really busy being president. I know I am serving as Secretary of Agriculture, so I can just imagine how tough things must be for you. But even though this job is a lot of work, I am glad you appointed me to this position. I am making plenty of new friends, thanks in part to the lessons in friendship you and your brothers taught me, and am proud to serve as their secretary.
As you can see from the attached photo, I made some new friends with a bunch of cows. Just like Bo Vine and his mom Kat Ell (who are both glad you helped get them to find each other), these cows are really nice. However, they feel a little underappreciated. So I pulled out my trusty typewriter, kind of like the one Marty used to start his book, and began to take notes on what you as president could do to help them out.
It turns out that July 11 is Cow Appreciation Day. They would really be honored if you sent out a proclamation to all your loyal Donutcratic party members reminding them to be extra thankful for cows. After all, they said, it if wasn’t for cows, there wouldn’t be milk, ice cream, or heaven forbid, yogis! And what kind of world would that be. So please send out an executive order reminding everyone to celebrate cows on July 11.
Apparently, if you live near a 7-11, you can also get a free icee there, so you can get an icee and think of cows all in one day. That would really be sweet.
Anyway, sorry for not writing as much as I would like. This job has been keeping me busy. Still, it is good to be able to finally find time to write. All of us at the farm are having a blast checking up through the grape vine on your adventures. The whole gang, C.D. Lessmelon, Tom and Pete Aytoe, Quinton Cumber, Bo Vine, and Kat Ell all say hi and wish you the best.
Take care and keeping being an awesome president. According to my notes, your approval rating among all things agriculture is 100% favorable with no margin of error. Keep up the good work.
Your friend and Secretary of Agriculture, Gourdon
