I miss this sweet boy more than words can say. Marty, you and your parents are the greatest thing to ever happen to the rat community. There is no greater weapon than awareness, and that is what this family has spread to countless people who never would have looked twice at a rat and spared a positive thought. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all for what you do.

Because of Marty I was able to give in and fall in love with my daughter’s ratties.
I would never let her have a rat when she lived at home. I was afraid of them!
She got several when she moved out on her own.
I loved them when. Stopped being silly. I loved Marty and actually felt a deep sadness. His stories brought me some very joyful early mornings!!

I believe Marty was already in Heaben when I discovered this site. He was such a handsome, photogenic little ratty. He had wonderful adbentures and made a great rat ambassador. I hope you’re proud, Marty, of the achievements of Milo, Wimbley, and Fibbs, who followed in your pawsteps, and I hope you are now looking out for Cosmo, Augie, and Bean in their adbentures, too.
