Dis ratstronaut Fish reporting from Moonbase Alpha. I hab arribed and there appears to oxygen present as I continue my search for aliems and Larry. Dis is the last lebel ob our space training class for school. I forgot to bring the flag, but there is one here already, so I fink it’s ok.

It’s me Fish! I was so glad to see Reuben, and I hab been waiting to open our Jamuary Ratty Box until he got home from his adbenture and then it took us some time to make our 80’s mix tape…the making of a great compilation tape, like breaking up, is hard to do and takes ages longer than it might seem. You gotta kick off with a killer, to grab attention. Then you got to take it up a notch, but you don’t wanna blow your wad, so then you got to cool it off a notch. It’s an art. So we had fun doing that wiff the yesteryear technology tape recorder, but we also took breaks in our 80’s techo swing and boombox rec room, good thing we had some Rascalberries snacks too! Mom and Dad always told us how cool the 80’s were, but now we really understand.
Our mixtape habs some great songs like Seperate Ways, I Ran, Cruel Summer, Total Eclipse ob My Heart, Always Somefing There to Remind Me and the closer If I Could Turn Back Time.

Wow, what an amazing adbenture I had! Did you see? We hab to try using our stapler as a springboard too! Dis time trabel tunnel hook up to the Fluffy Cycle Ride is pretty amazing. I did hab a little trouble on the way back and my ear got caught in the dryer, I didn’t tuck and roll properly, but dats ok, I fink chicks are going to dig a time trabel injury! It makes me berry tough and brabe.
I can’t wait for my brothers to meet Peter and Jenni and the Cowsins, and BW and Eliza, and eberybody!! I’m so glad Dougie ended up in the bedtime buddy pile and now we will be best friends foreber. Fank you A Mouse Named Peter and friends for showing me such a good time.
I hab to go check in wiff Dougie now fru my locket and let him know I got home ok. I’m still slightly illustrated, but it should wear off soon.
Reuben had so much fun diving off de springboard into de popcorn bucket (and ate seberal kernels ob popcorn too!)
Den Professor Whooot announced dat it was almost de right twist in de dryer tunnel to send Reuben home. Professor Whooot calibrated Reuben’s locket so dat Reuben and Dougie would be able to talk to each frou deir lockets abter Reuben went home.
De Cowsins gave Reuben sum speshial treats – a jar ob honey and a box ob gourmet cheeses – to bring home to his fambily. Peter and VW gave him a warm scarf and hat to wear back home since it was still cold dere. Jenni gave him flowers from her garden, and Eliza took more photos. Finally, Dougie walked wiff Reuben to de Fluffy Cycle Ride.

Hello! Dis Dr. Whooot. It has been brought to my attenshion dat sum people were concerned dat Reuben had crossed de rainbow bridge. Rest assured dat he is bery much alibe! Reuben and Dougie hab been transported here frou a space time portal in our dryer. I belieb Dougie’s secret night time practicing wiff de magic wand abter our trip to Sedona in October allowed dis to occur, because based on my calculashions, de twisty tunnel began forming at about dat time. So not to worry about our young friend Reuben. Oder dan getting into mischief wiff Dougie, all is well and he will be able to travel back to Marty Mouse House wiff de next twist in de space time continuum.

Hi, eberybuddy. Dis Peter DeMouse. Our bisitor’s name is Reuben, from de land ob Marty Mouse House. Professor Whooot says we hab to wait for de next twist in de time space continuum to send Reuben back but we are working on a surprise to help him not miss his fambily too much in de meanwhile. We also sent a note pinned to a sock back to his fambily to let dem know Reuben is here wiff us and dat we’ll take good care ob him until he can return.

Dis Peter – we pinned a note wiff de maff calculashions from Professor Whooot to a sock and put it in de Fluffy Cycle Ride. It disappeared! Den dere was a big noise and a pop and a zing and it worked: Dougie appeared! But den dere was an eben bigger noise and den someone else, holding tight to a bunch of single sox, appeared. He and Dougie climbed out and he looked a little bit discombobulated. We fink he’s from Marty Mouse House. Dougie is busy calming him down and den we’ll go introduce ourselves to him. We’re so relieved dat Dougie is okay!
