Good Afternoon eberybody – fank you for coming to the Marty School ob Bizness granulashun ceremony!
My name is Waffles, and I will be your host. Eberybody boted for me because I like to talk alot, and dis is no excepshun. We are all so excited to be here, after monffs ob studying and hard work we hab come here to be recognized for our accomplishments and take home dat cobeted degree. Eberybody here is excited to go out into the world and apply our knowledge ob Internashunal Bizness to make the world a better place. Our stapling skills, taping, science, maff, history, arting, monies, diribitibs and more will help us do it. We fank you all for your support along the way, we couldn’t hab done it wiffout you. Well, we probably could hab, but eberyfing is better wiff friends.
Like the speaker before me, I echo dese sentiments: “The lesson is that you’re here because you too learned how to answer the call. (It’s true, we had a customer serbice class where answering the phone was the first fing you hab to do). You don’t earn a degree by doing and being and existing in the comfort zone ob what you already know. (Sock Day is for being in your comfort zone). Look back on the journey that brought you here. What moments challenged you most? (For some it was science class, for some it was the last round ob finals) When were you asked to step outside of your familiar territory in order to rise to the occasion of your potential? I want you to remember those moments, because they will embolden you.”
I am so proud ob us, and wiffout further ado…let the ceremony begin!
Fanks to eberyone who offered to help me study, Baxter, Dougie, Barry and lots ob you… I hab been up all night in my sock all night reading and sleeping and snacking – I would read for awhile, then it would make me sleepy, so I would hab a nap, then I get snackish, and do it all ober again so many times. I hab my finals soon, so we’ll see how it goes. I know a few more fings now den I did yesterday.
We only hab a small time left before granulashun and I’m not doing berry good in one ob my classes. If I don’t do better I might not get to granulate wiff the class… I hab one more chance to pass the class but I’m so scared and stressed. Fankfully Baxter and Barry said they would help me – they are boff berry smart. Wish me luck.
I’m here waiting for our meeting ob The Secret Order ob the Nocturnal Water Buffalo: Chapter Elebenty meeting to start. It’s still raining, but nocturnal water buffalos like rain – water is right in the name. And we are inside anyway where it’s warm.
It takes awhile for people to file in and do the secret handshake and blood oaff (if you habn’t already, some people already hab). It’s going to be a packed meeting tonight wiff lots of fun fings to discuss and lots ob snacks are coming. I’m excited, are you excited? If you hab somefing you want to discuss, like a pamcake breakfast or somefing, please raise your hand.
Good afternoon. Dis Ted Baxter reporting from soggy Souffern Califorbia. We hab an atmospheric riber stalled ober the area dat has dumped trillons ob gallons ob water on us, causing some real problems wiff flooding and mudslides across the region. Here at MMH we hab secured our snacks in a dry locashun and hab an alternatib power source ready in case power goes out. It’s cold and wet outside so if you hab to go out be sure to wear your rain hat and coat to keep dry. Don’t dribe fru standing water because you can get stuck. You might fink you won’t, but you probably will and then you’re in big trouble and someone habs to come rescue you and they hab enuff stuff to do already.
Hab a bucket and mop handy for any leaks and otherwise stay safe and dry and enjoy being inside wiff the rain. It’s going to last a few days, so buckle in and stay safe.
We know what the weather is eberywhere because we hab access to the SCMODS computer system, but if you want to gib your weather reporting name and say what it’s like where you are, you can be an MNN field reporter.
So lets go to our new reporters out in the field…
