Poems by Bert: A Tribute to Sadie Storm
A Tribute to Sadie Storm
Kevin and Sadie met in New York
She lived in a wall
He ate with a fork
Her family grew as she lived in a tunnel
She came for yogies
And avoided the funnel
He collected them all one by one
And moved to Rocket City
Where they would have more fun
They got to be friends that much is true
For years they made memories
Until her time was through.
He would neber regret it, not eben a minute
She slept in Fort Salem,
But she is no longer in it.
The memories will last foreber and eber
The Sadie shape in his heart
Will fade – I fink neber!

Oh Bert, that is so sweet! You are a very good poet!
That is your best poem eber, Bert. It is a very lovely tribute too. And that photo of you is endearing. May Sadie run free in that place where no harm can ever come and have strawberrie shakes with the Marty Mouse House boys in Heaben.
